When I started out as a photographer in the 1970's there was limited demand for images connected with the environment. However, this has changed dramatically in recent years. The way we manage the land is now recognised as crucial to the survival of many key species, and I hope that by addressing these issues in my work I am doing something to help the conservation movement in Scotland.
