Although I usually attempt to capture 'definitive' images of my subjects I also give myself the freedom to experiment. Many natural forms have an abstract beauty that only emerges when they are seen in isolation or close-up. The resulting images may occasionally baffle the viewer, but for me this is an immensely satisfying side of my work. What's more, these images are frequently among the most popular in my portfolio.
